As I work on this new website Drawing Tutorials Online.com I realize it’s very similar to when I started working on my illustration career. It was the Summer of 1990 and I really had no clue what I was doing. However the one thing I did right was to act as if I was already an illustrator.
I went to work every morning at 9 am and worked until 5 pm. I worked on sample illustration book covers for my portfolio. It was tough going at first, just like working on this website. There are days when I work on something when I do not completely understand the software.

The same thing happened in the past. However it was more about not understanding how to draw or paint an object like hands or struggling with color.

The one thing that is the same looking back on those times is that I stay aware of the big picture. Yes I get frustrated with minor details but I understand that little by little I am chiseling away towards my goal, step by step living in the moment.
