I’m filming a sketchbook a week utilizing my iphone. Ryan is currently enrolled in my Tuesday drawing class at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan New York. He loves to draw and it shows in his work. Check out his cool drawings, they have a lot of emotion backing them up. All of my students have to finish two sketchbooks in a 15 week semester, you should try it too.

Lovely work from Ryan. Congratulations on his hard work. It is definitely paying off. Matt, can you post or please repeat the kind of pencil he used for the “passages” sketches? Also, do you mind posting images also of the other teacher Steve (of course, if that doesn’t create a conflict of interests)? Thank you both.
Regards,
~Oscar

You guys are amazing. I missed the name of the pencil that you use for that nice dark line on your figure drawings. Also would like to try that multicoloured one you mentioned. Could you mention them again? Thanks
