Hey everyone I finally dug up this Landscape Drawing that I had been working on a while back. In this drawing tip I wanted to share with you some simple ideas about drawing wood. This old 1800’s barn has seen it’s better days. I’m doing my best to prevent the drawing from becoming too stylized. To see the rest of the tutorial visit http://www.drawing-tutorials-online.com This Part Four will be uploaded to DTO Wednesday afternoon, February 10. The other hidden drawing tip is never give up on a drawing, it will always come back to haunt you.

Nice tutorial matt. I just found your website, it has very useful content for beginners like me. One thing i wanted to ask was how to get rid of smudging and smearing that happens while using 2b drawing pencil. Most of my drawings in my sketchbook tend to turn pale and smudged.
Again thanks for the tips.

I really enjoyed this video. I am practicing wood now with my pencils. I got several darknesses- HB B! B3 B4 B6 B8. Trying to see if it was worth the cost. Your video gives me the perfect focal point.
Thanks so much for the Video.
