Do you all remember Dana’s first sketchbook video? Dana is a student enrolled in my foundation drawing class for animators at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan New York. I’m so impressed with her drawings that I’m going to do a long interview with her this May while school is out. Her work is so amazing. Much more amazing than my iphone camera work which is tooooo shaky. Just ignore the shake because you have the priviledge of looking through a great sketchbook from a great student. It’s totally worth sitting through the bad video. Thanks Dana for sharing once again.
This May while school is out I’m going to be creating a brand new marketing program for illustrators. Does that sound like it could help you? If so make sure you are all signed up to my drawing tip of the week. I’ll notify you of it’s release. This one is going to rock. Try typing in “Drawing Tutorials” on google. Both my blog and main site come up on the first page. That doesn’t happen by accident. I will share with you some nifty secrets for getting your blog or site seen on the first page of a google search. If you are an artist trying to promote your work this is crucial. Well that’s all for now.
Are you are thinking of joining Drawing Tutorials Online ? If you are now is the time. Subscription rates will be going up in May, seriously. The price of DTO is super low considering the two many to mention video tutorials on the site. With the price of one art class starting at three hundred to five hundred dollars you just cannot beat the twelve bucks.

The best proposition was to use temporarily a car from chicago limousine company and spend the whole time in the city having time of our life. It was so much fun!

Don’t pay attention to those who criticise you for showing these awesome sketchbooks. It really is a great idea and a privilege to be able to see the sketchbooks of these very talented artists.

Hi Matt, it’s hard to believe that someone could complain about you posting these great peeks into artists’ private areas – which sketchbooks definitely are.
What I think is, that it is one of the most original and greatest ways how to find out and learn something new.
Thank you Matt and keep it going.
Thumbs up.

Fabulous work!
Dana’s work is really fantastic.
I only wish I had he talent to “practice” as well as she does. She deserves a lot of praise…many, many things I picked out of seeing her work. Here line rhythm and fundamental composition jumps out all along the way.
Thanks for sharing. Both inspirational and helpful.

Forget what I said about Johnathan’s Sketchbook. Now that I saw those drawings of Dana’s Sketchbook all my willpower is gone. I’ll never get to do something like this in a million years. LOL (but very sad).
