Ryan’s Sketchbook Drawings Part II

Do you all remember Ryan’s first sketchbook? Someone commented on youtube that Ryan had old lady hair, we both laughed about that in class. Ryan is a student enrolled in my foundation drawing class for animators at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan New York. Ryan has a very unique style of drawing and a very discerning eye. I commute a long way to teach at SVA and quite frankly I thank God that I only have to commute three days a week. However students like Ryan make the commute well worth it. His art is pretty dam cool. You can check out the animation he completed along with Pete Lake, a student who forgot just about everything he ever owned in my Tuesday class, by clicking on Ryan’s Animation.

This May while school is out I’m going to be creating a brand new marketing program for illustrators. Does that sound like it could help you? If so make sure you are all signed up to my drawing tip of the week. I’ll notify you of it’s release. This one is going to rock. Try typing in “Drawing Tutorials” on google it shows up on the first search page. That doesn’t happen by accident. I will share with you some nifty secrets for getting your blog or site seen on the first page of a google search. If you are an artist trying to promote your work this is crucial. Well that’s all for now.

Are you are thinking of joining Drawing Tutorials Online ? If you are now is the time. Subscription rates will be going up in May, seriously. The price of DTO is super low considering the two many to mention video tutorials on the site. With the price of one art class starting at three hundred to five hundred dollars you just cannot beat the twelve bucks.

I appreciate the sketch book views. His ‘messy’ book is very smooth and confident. That is what I think I find the most outstanding is the growth in confidence, it shows in their line also. Thanks

Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.
