Caitlin is a student enrolled in my Tuesday Foundation Drawing class at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan New York. I had to shoot Caitlin’s sketchbook because it is so different. Caitlin just loves to draw animals. Specifically dogs. I think her drawings are really cute. That is just what is needed in todays animation market place. Considering that every other animation we watch in the theaters has a cast of animals, Caitlin’s work is quite in demand.
Caitlin is just about to finish up with her first year of college. I’m really looking forward to seeing how her animal drawings are going to look in just a few short years. The amazing thing about Caitlin is that she is blessed with both talent and an amazing passion for drawing animals. This should serve her well as she enters into the animation world that loves to showcase animals with tons of character.
I hope you enjoyed viewing Caitlins’s sketchbook. I think her drawings are fun and playful. Ask yourself the question, what subject matter am I really passionate about? If you can combine your passion of drawing with your other passion, say dogs in Caitlin’s case, you are on your way!

It would be helpful to get some original information from people that are knowledgeable on that particular animal.

I wish I can draw like you. But I much prefer to appreciate the art of others than to make my own art.:)

I am speechless. This is a great blog and very engaging too. Excellent work! That’s not really much coming from an amateur publisher like me, but it’s all I could think after enjoying your posts. Excellent grammar and vocabulary. Not like other blogs. You really know what you’re talking about too. So much that you made me want to explore more. Your blog has become a stepping stone for me, my friend. Thank you for the articulate journey. I really enjoyed the 4 posts that I have read so far. http://www.letsluxury.net/

So many of the children have produced such a high standard, we have decided to create a separate competition just for the children and to award special prizes for each age group.
