Chris Anne is a student enrolled in my Friday foundation drawing class at the School of Visual Arts. Chris Anne has got to be one of the most creative people I’ve ever had the privilege to teach. Every time I give a special project in class Chris Anne always takes the assignment to a place I never thought it would go. I hope you enjoy looking at her drawings as much as I do.

Oh my gosh, Matt, thank you so much for sharing these sketchbooks! I wish I had a creative adjective that could come close to describing Chris Anne’s work. Amazing, fascinating, incredible … all fit! This is a beautiful example of an artist who isn’t afraid to let herself go. And “go” she does! Wow, such expression! You’re right. It’s crazy stuff! I love it. Wow, just when you think you’ve seen the most talented person, someone else oomes along who is also very gifted and creative. Chis Anne’s sketchbooks are so amazing I loved seeing that her mind is in the zone! In such a wondefully creative place and like Saori she is very versatile. There are so many talented young people in SVA and out there in the world. We are lucky to be able to share their images. Their work is very inspiring, beautiful and exciting to see!

Chris Anne’s Sketch book is a delight to behold, It is obvious she loves to let her mind wander onto the page and she does it with a lot of skill.
